About Andrew I. Fury, Esquire
Andrew was raised in Silver Spring, MD, and attended St. John’s Military Academy in Washington, DC. He graduated in 1986 with Honors in English from the University of Maryland. Immediately following college, he spent 2 years in Washington, DC as a reporter, holding a membership in the United States Capitol Press Gallery. Before moving on to law school, he taught English Composition and Literature for a year at the historic Emerson Preparatory School in Washington, DC. He received his Law Degree from the University of Baltimore in 1993 and was admitted to the Maryland Bar the same year. He has been engaged in private practice since that time.
His approach to the practice of law is to help and advise the whole person and not just pick and choose a few select areas of law. As a former teacher, he enjoys discussing with clients about how different areas of the law can work together in order to solve problems in a more creative and cost-effective way.
Andrew is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association and participates in the Consumer Bankruptcy Section. He and his wife Rose Marie, along with their many rescued pets, have been proud residents of Parkville since 1993.
